Okay, now that I finally got to watch the whole thing.

Starscream is the best character ever.  He just is.  I loved every single scene he was in and pretty much every single thing he said.  The scene with Prime in the beginning was interesting, I liked how he tried to twist things his way (as soon as the mild panic went away at least) even though he really had no idea what was even going on.  BUT that was nothing in comparison to him trying to get Ratchet to fix his leg because dear god that was hilarious.  Especially “It’s a ship it moves.“  Poor Starscream, he can never catch a break xD

Prime was… well he did things.  I admit that I was never a big Optimus Prime fan and he rarely catches my attention.  The voice acting seemed a little stilted in the beginning which I think kind of hurt the scene a bit, especially when compared with Starscream’s great voice.  I was more interested in Megatron’s side of the whole hacking thing, it was a shame we didn’t get to see more of him.

Arcee was kickass as usual, I love her scenes with Jack once they get onto Cybertron.  Just… it’s the emotion at seeing her home devastated.  Like, even though she knew Cybertron was pretty much destroyed, time away can kind of dull that so coming back seems like it just brought all those memories back.  

The kids themselves were meh to ‘Oh god Miko just stop talking’.  I started liking her towards the end of the first season now she’s just kind of there making bad jokes and I want her to just go away for a bit.  Raf’s story about gym class was fun only for Ratchet’s reaction at the end.

Fowler and June though, dear god do I love Fowler and June.  I feel for June here, her son’s going off to a different planet and participating in a war between giant robots, the fact that she hasn’t hauled him home and locked him in his room forevermore is commendable.  

Fowler and Breakdown though have to have been my second favorite part of the whole episode, right after Starscream’s desperate attempts to just get someone to fix his leg.  For a CIA man, you’d think Fowler would have better acting skills or something but no, he’s just awful at it.  If it had been anyone but Breakdown…  Though I do love that Breakdown is actually pretty nice to the Eradicons.  Somebody has to thank these poor guys.  (Side note, I do like that we get to see more stuff from the Eradicons that proves they’re not just drones but wow does it make the fight scenes that much more disturbing when they’re dropping like flies.)
